Itinerary: Hanoi - Ninh Binh – Halong – Hanoi

Highlight of Tour: You will ask by yourself how the daily life of people in the Red River Delta is, how they built a small and traditional house, but the most important what is the beautiful countryside of the North.

Day 01: Hanoi-Duong Lam Cycling-La Ferme du Colvert. (L/D)
Morning, drive to the North of Ha Tay province to the ancient Duong Lam village. You will begin cycling from Va temple to Mong Phu village, discover old houses made of literati and rammed soil; most of the village architectures still remain intact. This is a great opportunity to witness the calm and tranquility of everyday country life and interact with local people. Continue cycling to Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen temples - home of the national hero Kings where you will have a stylist picnic lunch. Leave Duong Lam for Luong Son town. Spend the afternoon to explore the surroundings and village of La Ferme du Col Vert.

Day 02: La Ferme du Col Vert-Kenh Ga-Ninh Binh (B/L)
After breakfast, drive to Ninh Binh. En route visit minority villages and bamboo water-pump. Stopping at Hoa Lu to visit temples dedicated to two ancient Vietnamese kings. After lunch drive to Kenh Ga, a secluded floating village in Ninh Binh with a dramatic landscape of limestone cliffs and caves. Travel serenely through the village by motorboat and rowboat witnessing scenes of fishermen, children going to school, and everyday life along the riverfront. Late afternoon, the driver will transfer you to Ninh Binh town for overnight.

Day 03: Ninh Binh-Van Long Cycling-Ha Long (B/L)
Morning, depart from hotel to Van Long. On arrival, taking a one-hour boat cruise on Van Long reservoir. In the afternoon drive to Hai Phong stopping en route at Pho Minh Pagoda before proceeding to Ha Long City. Overnight in Ha Long.

Day 04: Ha Long-Hanoi (B/L)
Leave hotel to Ha Long harbor where you will board a charming boat for a cruise on the Bay. Spend the 5 hours sailing through the 3,000 limestone pinnacles piercing the emerald water of the Gulf of Tonkin. Ha Long Bay is one of Vietnam’s most incredible natural wonders and was proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will visit Thien Cung Cave before have lunch on board with fresh seafood. Disembark the boat and return to Hanoi via Dong Trieu ceramic village, Dong Trieu is famous for its ceramic pottery which is sold throughout Viet Nam and increasingly to overseas markets. Arrive Hanoi and drop off at your hotel.
