DAY 01: ARRIVAL YANGON (-/-/-)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport and welcome by our tour speaking guide. Transfer to hotel for check in. (The official check in time at 14:00 hours).This morning, visit Botathaung Pagoda, located close to Yangon River and said to contain Buddha relics. The tour includes visit the old colonial-style city center with the gilded Sule Pagoda, as a landmark in central Yangon. And visit BogyokeAung San (Scott) Market, is the most popular market (close on every Monday & Public holiday) and where you can buy luxury item, handicrafts, food stuff, clothing, jewelry, fashion and consumer goods.
In the afternoon, visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha. Then visit Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal Lake for photo stop. Enjoy the sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide - its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Buddhist Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues. Accommodation at hotel, Yangon
DAY 02: YANGON – MANDALAY (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. This morning, transfer to Bagan Airport for domestic flight to Mandalay. Upon arrival, proceed to Amarapura. Then visit picturesque Sagaing, perhaps the living center of Buddhist faith in Myanmar today. The hills here are dotted with numerous pagodas and monasteries. Then drive to U Bein Bridge, which at over a kilometer is believed to be the longest teak bridge in the world.
In the afternoon, sightseeing tour, a highlight of Mandalay which is the Mahamuni Pagoda, home to Mandalay's holiest Buddha statue. Next visit to Shwe-im-bin, a wooden monastery over 100 years old which is known for its lovely carving. Continue visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda (the 'world’slargest book', being the Buddhist Scriptures inscribed on marble slabs). Then visit Shwenandaw Monastery, an ancient wooden building with intricate carvings. Visit Kyaukdawgyi Pagoda to see a large Buddha statue carved out of a single block of local marble. Enjoy spectacular views at sunset from Mandalay Hill, where there are interesting glass-studded temples. Accommodation at hotel, Mandalay.
DAY 03 (SUN): MANDALAY – MINGUN (BY RV PAUKAN CRUISE) (B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. This morning day at leisure. Transfer to Gawein jetty to embark on 12:00 hr and cast off after half an hour time. Welcome with cocktail and briefing in the Saloon or Sundeck followed by lunch. After cruising upstream for two hours, we arrive at the Mingun Pagoda to visit and dinner on board. Then, clients can enjoy a dance and drama performance by the Mandalay Arts School on the sundeck and overnight on board.
DAY 04 (MON): MINGUN – SAGAING – YANDABO (BY RV PAUKAN CRUISE) (B/L/D)
Breakfast on board. Early morning cruise downstream and clients can admire the natural beauty of the river and the life of its banks while relaxing on the sundeck or just sitting outside their own cabin. Enjoy the sunrise over Sagaing Hill and can go ashore to visit Sagaing. After that, at 10:30 hr, we sail all day long and stop at Yandabo, it is a village specialization in Pot-Making, where the peace realty of the first Anglo-Burmese war was signed on 24 Feb 1826. We visit the pot workshops, the school and the monastery. Dinner and overnight on board near the ShweNann Tint village.
DAY 05: YANDABO – BAGAN (BY RV PAUKAN CRUISE) (B/-/-)
Breakfast on board. Early morning, cruise departs to Bagan and enjoys the sunrise near Bagan. Around 09:30 hr, disembark at Aye Yar jetty and then transfer to hotel for check in. The tour sightseeing to the one of Asia’s most popular archeological destination. We will visit colorful Naung U Market and visit some of Bagan most famous pagodas, including Shwezigon Pagoda, a prototype of later Myanmar stupas: Gupaukgyi ,a 13th century cave temple with interesting fine frescoes of sciences from the jatakas, and Anada Pagoda, one of the visit to a Lacquerware factory. We will also visit Dhammayangyi Patho, a massive later period temple with the finest brickwork in Bagan. As the sun goes down we will be at one of the ideal viewing sites selected by or tour guide. Accommodation at hotel, Bagan.
DAY 06: BAGAN – HEHO – PINDAYA – INLE LAKE (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel.Transfer to Nyaung U Airport for domestic flight to Heho. Transfer from Heho airport to Pindaya (approximately 1 hour 45 minutes) an attractive drive up into the hills and across the Shan Plateau, through fields of mountain rice. Visit main attraction of Pindaya Caves, is the natural limestone cave that ranches out widely, displaying more than 8,000 Buddha images made of wood, marble, lacquer, brick, stone and bronze. Proceed the picturesque Boutaloke Lake, beautifully set amongst huge old trees and visit local handicraft workshop in which is umbrella manufacturing. The making of these pretty hand-made paper umbrellas can be seen in several workshops in town.
Late afternoon, drive by road to NyaungShwe jetty and take a boat transfer to hotel for check in. Accommodation at hotel, Inle Lake.
DAY 07: INLE LAKE (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. This morning, visit to one of the 5 days rotating markets (on market day only). Excursion by boat on picturesque Inle Lake we see the famous leg rowers, the typical floating gardens where fruit and vegetables are grown, local methods of fishing and village life. Then we visit PhaungDawOo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State. Afterward visit to boat construction workshop at Nampan village and stopping to see some traditional handicrafts - silk weaving on wooden handlooms in Inpawkon village, a cheroot making and other cottage industries. Afterward, proceed by boat to visit NgaPheKyaung Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake where inside its large wooden meditation hall. Accommodation at hotel, Inle Lake.
DAY 08: INLE LAKE – HEHO – YANGON – DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel.This morning take a boat trip to Jetty and then proceed drive to Heho airport for domestic flight back to Yangon. Arrival Yangon, connect to Yangon International Airport for your midafternoon or evening departure flight.
