Day 01: Sai Gon-Tay Ninh-Vinh Long (L,D)
Drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Vinh Long, stopping en route at an elaborate Cao Dai Temple. En-route to Mekong Delta, depending on the season we can witness rural scenes of farmers seeding, plugging, and harvesting the rice crop. At Vinh Long, discover how people make tofu, floor tiles, bricks, and husk rice. Take a boat along the Mekong River and its tributaries en route to our lunch stop in a local house set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees. We spend the night in a typical Vietnamese local house.

Day 02: Vinh Long-Cai Be floating market-Sai Gon (B,L)
Continue by boat in the morning to the bustling and colorful Cai Be floating market. Stop at family-run businesses producing rice paper - a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine. Visit an authentic old house and a fruit wholesale market. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and drop off at hotel.
