Highlight of Tour: Enjoying the atmosphere in the floating market in Mekong Delta and overnight at local home.

Day 01: Sai Gon-Ben Tre (L/D)
Drive through the scenic Mekong Delta to My Tho and board a boat to an orchard garden. Take a horse-drawn cart to Quoi Son to visit a bee farm and float on a sampan through narrow, tree-lined canals. Continue to Tan Thach commune to visit a family-run enterprise making coconut candy. After lunch continue by boat to Phu Tuc village for the overnight stay. Try fishing whilst sightseeing on a late-afternoon rowboat trip. Enjoy the hospitality of a local family and have dinner. Afterwards take in a performance of traditional rural music. Spend the night in a local house in Ben Tre.

Day 02: Ben Tre-Cai Be floating market-Vinh Long-Can Tho (B/L)
After breakfast depart for Cai Be and take a boat to the floating market to practice the age-old art of bartering. Visitors will be supplied with sweets, sugar, milk, etc. which they can then barter for different kinds of local fruits. Continue by river to see family-run businesses producing a local version of popcorn, rice paper and an authentic old house. Continue to a local village to view the fish-netting activities and try it yourself. Arrive Vinh Long, and then transfer to Can Tho for overnight.

Day 03: Can Tho-Sai Gon (B/L)
Morning boat cruise to visit Cai Rang floating market. The market is filled with small boats darting through the water as vendors sell their wares. Cruise through small canals and stop at a fruit orchard to taste some of the succulent fruits of the Mekong Delta. From here take a “xe loi” - a pedicab drawn by a bicycle or motorbike to visit the Binh Thuy old house, a local market and a temple. Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
