SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA 5 DAYS

Upon arrival at Tan San Nhat international airport. Our driver will pick you up and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

AM: Pick up at hotel, transfer to visit Cu Chi. Sight-seeing on road: rice field, potter’s kilns. Visit the underground village, which used to be a bitter battle ground for a long period during the Vietnam war. The amazing network of over 200 km of undergound tunnels will offer you impression of the former fierce war in South Vietnam.

PM: Have a Sai Gon city tours: Visit to Reunification Palace, War Crime Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, former US Embassy, and shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Dinner at local Restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river, enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, performed by the locals. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Visit a family local which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages.  Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel in Can Tho.

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to visit Cai Răng floating market  which are the liveliest in the whole religion. Boat cruise through small cannels and fruit gardens (Enjoy the fruit with your own expense). Visit a family garden for tasting some typical local fruits. After lunch, drive back to Saigon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast, transfer to Tan Son Nhat international airport for departure with sweet memories.
