Handicraft Ceramics and wooden fine works
The ceramic and wooden art works production is a traditional profession of long time ago. In the Northern Vietnam, the famous producers are Bat Trang village (Hanoi), Dong Trieu (Quang Ninh), ThoHa ( Bac Ninh); the wooden carving village Dong Ky… In the Southern Vietnam, they are Sai Gon ceramics, Binh Duong ceramics, Bien Hoa ceramics (Dong Nai)… Ordinary, the decorations on the ceramics or wooden products are very familiar to the daily life scenes or expressing the symbol of spirit powers.

Lace and embroidery
Among the ancient Hanoi’s guild streets, there was pho Hang Theu (Embroideries street) where is specialized in embroidery products sailing (the street is now a part of Hang Trong street that leads to the Le Thai to street).
Vietnamese embroideries are very skillful. They can use up to 20 kinds of color threads for embroidery.
